Donna began her time with the Royals as a host family in 2010. Donna has enjoyed sitting in the stand with her husband Eric and two boys Conner and Alex. She is self employed as a Speech and Language Pathologist working with infants and toddlers. In 2015, Donna became housing coordinator and began organizing post game meals for the players. The love of the team and the organization led her to volunteer to be the president of the organization in 2017. Donna has recruited her husband to be the announcer for home games and her boys to be King Chester the Royals mascot.
Jr Burns began his volunteer work with the Royals in 2012. He works full time at Axalta Coatings Systems in Front Royal Va. and lives in Stephens city Va. with his wife Tina and three boys Christian, Caleb & Carson. Caleb was the bat boy for the Royals for 2 years. You will *nd him helping in the ticket booth at all the home games along with Mrs. Betty.
Betty has been with the Royals since the beginning. She worked in the concession stand and then started working at the gate and doing 50/50. Betty was the first Secretary of the Royals, a position that she held until the 2018 season. She has been Treasurer since the 1990's. Betty and her husband, Jim, kept players from 1980 until 1996 at which time they downsized and lost a bedroom. She has made many friends thru the Royals and keeps in touch with many of them.
